ST. LOUIS, Aug. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Ray Barrett, chairman of Biomedical Systems, has accepted the role of chairman of Triumph Pharmaceuticals and its premier brand, SmartMouth, an oral rinse product that provides fresh breath for up to 24 hours.
Known as an “entrepreneur’s entrepreneur,” Barrett brings a unique mix of experience to the table, with success in the medical and healthcare markets, as well as consumer products. Barrett has developed Biomedical Systems into a global organization offering clinical trials throughout the world. Prior to that, he founded Landshire Food Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of packaged goods, which he sold to Southland Corporation, the parent company of 7-11, in 1977.
