Norway’s reserve bank left its secret
interest rate unchanged on Thursday, in line with projections, however
repeated it may cut later to fight an economic recession
set off by low oil prices. The rate course for 2017 and 2018 was raised slightly.
All but among the 14 financial experts polled by Reuters had stated
the bank would keep its deposit rate the same at the present
record low 0.50 percent. All the economists expected rates to be
cut to 0.25 percent in September. (Full Story).
