Center East shares were mixed, with financiers waiting to see if
MSCI planned to put Saudi Arabia on evaluation for feasible incorporation
as early as mid-2017.
MSCI was slated to make a statement after the Center East
close on Tuesday.
MSCI was also set to decide on Tuesday whether to include China
A-shares in the index, which would certainly water down the weightings of Gulf
components as well as taxed those markets.
Saudi Arabia’s major index bordered up 0.6% to 6,627 factors, Dubai
firmed 0.2% to 3,330 factors, Abu Dhabi rose 0.5% to 4,386 factors,
Qatar added 0.5% to 9,756 points, Egypt decreased 1% to 7,570
points, Kuwait was level at 5,412 points, Oman alleviated 0.2% to 5,839
points as well as Bahrain was unmodified at 1,123 factors.
