Former Ku Klux Klan chief, David Duke introduced Friday he’ll operate for the Senate seat in Louisiana.

Duke created the statement on his site. The 66-year-old is seeking an open-seat left by Republican David Vitter.

Duke stated if chosen he’d protect the privileges of “ &rdquo, Western Americans. He explained his system has become & rdquo;conventional& ldquo .

“I’m thrilled to determine many Americans and Donaldtrump and all of the conditions accept that I’ve championed for a long time,& rdquo.

the National Republican Senatorial Committee and also the Louisiana state Republican Party swiftly stated Duke would not be backed by them. The executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee tweeted out this information:
