Bezos says Amazon to invest additional $3 billion in India

Amazon Inc (AMZN.O) Chief Executive Jeff Bezos stated on Tuesday the business would invest an extra $3 billion in India, enhancing the company’s dedicated financial investment in the country to $5 billion. “I am delighted to reveal today that Amazon will invest an extra $3 billion on top of the $2 billion investment we announced in 2014 to bring our total dedicated investment in India to over $5 billion,” Bezos told an event in Washington went to by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also satisfied on Tuesday with President Barack Obama.
