JUPITER, Fla., June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — ADIT Solutions (ADIT), a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and AGIS, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, along with PinkSummit and KAB Laboratories won top prize at this year’s DI2E Plugfest Mash Up Challenge in competition with much larger companies.
The DI2E Plugfest is the annual demonstration of advancements in the Department of Defense’s (DoD) enterprise architecture component for the Intelligence Mission Area. The purpose is to provide an environment of networked, interoperable and reusable components, within the Plugfest eXchange (PX), where vendors are able to deploy, engage with others on their capabilities, and showcase tools to provide flexible, agile and data-driven capabilities to warfighters and the critical missions.
AGIS/ADIT demonstrated LifeRing software’s ability to interface with the US Navy’s DCGS-N, JDISS Intelligence systems and with SAP databases. Furthermore, LifeRing was able to send photographs of documents in Arabic to PinkSummit that were subsequently transmitted back in English via CoT to a LifeRing-enabled Android Smartphone. LifeRing also interfaced with KAB Laboratories Data link simulator which sent AIS, ELINT, Radar and NAVSSI (Navigation Sensor System Interface) information which was processed and displayed on LifeRing.

The team received the 4-Star award along with prize money which was donated to the Fisher House Foundation Charity. Fisher Houses provide military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
