At the worst point around the Great Economic crisis, one in 10 Americans couldn’t discover work. Today the jobs imagine is better. The joblessness rate is only 4.7%, a level considered at– or extremely near to– full employment. There are some concerns that the unemployment rate is so low since many individuals have stopped trying to find work out of disappointment and are no more counted in the workforce. The so-called “workforce participation rate” is at its lowest level given that the 1970s. Baby Boomers retiring is triggering a few of the decline in the labor force, but it doesn’t discuss all of it.
